We are a traditional Welsh country pub, restaurant, and accommodation provider located near Abergavenny, offering food, drinks, and overnight stays.
2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
Accommodation Bookings

All room bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

A valid credit/debit card is required to secure your reservation.

A deposit or full prepayment may be requested at the time of booking.

Balance payments (if applicable) must be settled upon arrival or departure.

Prices include VAT where applicable.
Table Reservations

We recommend booking tables in advance, particularly for weekends and Sunday lunches.

For groups of 6 or more, a small deposit may be required.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking.
Cancellations & No Shows

Room bookings cancelled within 48 hours of arrival may be charged in full.

Table bookings not cancelled at least 24 hours prior may result in loss of deposit.

In cases of severe weather, illness, or emergencies, please contact us directly — we will always try to be fair and accommodating.
3. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in time: from 3:00 PM

Check-out time: by 10:30 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

Guests are responsible for their belongings; we cannot accept liability for loss or damage to personal items unless caused by our negligence.
4. GUEST CONDUCT
We aim to provide a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. Please:

Respect other guests and our property.

Keep noise to a reasonable level, especially after 10:30 PM.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the building. Designated smoking areas are available outside.

Any damage to rooms or furnishings may result in a charge for repair or replacement.
5. DOG-FRIENDLY POLICY
We welcome well-behaved dogs in our bar area, garden, and certain rooms (please confirm when booking).

Dogs must be kept on leads in public areas.

Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

A small cleaning fee may apply for pet-friendly rooms.
6. FOOD & DRINK SERVICE

All food is freshly prepared; during busy periods, waiting times may vary.

We make every effort to accommodate dietary needs but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Alcohol is served in line with UK licensing laws — we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone under 18 or anyone behaving inappropriately.

Outside food and drink are not permitted on the premises.
7. GIFT VOUCHERS & PROMOTIONS

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

Cannot be exchanged for cash.

Lost or expired vouchers cannot be replaced.

Promotional offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
8. EVENTS & PRIVATE BOOKINGS
We welcome private events and group bookings.

Deposits may be required to confirm event reservations.

Final numbers and menu choices must be confirmed at least 7 days prior.

Cancellations within 7 days of the event may result in partial or full charges depending on notice period and costs incurred.
